1. Operator and agreement
Wavik is an AI sound-effect service operated by Lumi Li, an individual based in China. References to “Wavik”, “we” and “us” mean this operator trading under the Wavik brand. You can contact us at [email protected].
These terms apply when you use Wavik. Review the Privacy Policy before submitting information and the Refund Policy before purchasing. If you do not agree to these terms, do not submit generation requests or purchase generations. You must be at least 18 and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you use Wavik for an organization, you must be authorized to do so.
2. The service and AI disclosure
You enter a text description, choose available generation settings, and receive an AI-generated sound that you can preview and download. Current generation uses ElevenLabs Sound Effects V2 through fal.ai. Ready-made examples on Wavik are also AI-generated; they are identified as samples rather than recordings of a real event.
Outputs can contain artifacts, differ from the prompt or resemble other outputs. Listen before using a sound in a project. Wavik does not verify that an output records a real event, has exclusive copyright, or is suitable for a safety-critical purpose. We do not provide voice-identity verification or a service for authenticating evidence.
3. One-time purchases and generation counts
Wavik sells generation counts through one-time payments, with no subscription or automatic renewal. The current discounted price is $0.05 per generation, with a displayed regular price of $0.10. A single purchase is $5.00–$9,999.00 in $0.05 increments: $5 buys 100 generations, $25 buys 500, and $9,999 buys 199,980. Any applicable tax and final payment total are shown at checkout.
Purchased generations do not expire and additional purchases add to the unused balance. This is a stored generation entitlement, not a bank account, transferable currency or an unlimited-use plan. Later price changes do not remove existing purchased counts. There is no free generation allowance; ready-made sample playback and downloads remain free.
A valid request reserves one generation to prevent concurrent overspending. One successfully completed, usable audio result consumes one generation. A failed request, or a cancellation accepted before completion, releases that reservation. Replaying or downloading a result does not consume another generation. A deliberate new generation request consumes another count if it succeeds. We do not charge different counts for the available duration, looping or prompt-influence settings.
Waffo handles hosted checkout and payment processing. The receipt and checkout identify the payment merchant and applicable payment terms. Orders add counts only after payment is verified. A page marked “Test payment” is a test, creates no real charge and does not purchase production generations. Test counts are separate from any live purchase.
4. Your balance, browser and downloads
The current service identifies a balance using an essential browser cookie and links verified purchases to the payment email returned by the payment provider. This is not a password-based account or automatic access on every device. Keep your receipt and access to your payment email. Clearing cookies or changing devices can disconnect the browser from its balance without erasing the underlying purchase records.
Contact [email protected] from your purchase email if you lose access. Support checks ownership and purchase history before arranging a recovery code. Recovery transfers only verified remaining counts, not the original purchase amount again. Do not share recovery codes. The balance recovery page accepts a code supplied by support.
Download sounds you want to retain. Purchased counts remaining valid does not promise permanent audio hosting or a permanent generation history. Generated audio is temporarily available and may become unavailable after its access window, cleanup or service interruption.
5. Sound use and commercial projects
Subject to these terms, applicable law and the rights held by us and our providers, you may download, edit and incorporate lawfully obtained Wavik sounds into personal and commercial projects. This includes videos, games, apps, podcasts, advertisements and client work. Wavik does not charge an additional per-use royalty for these permitted uses.
This permission is non-exclusive and limited to rights we can grant. It does not grant rights in another person’s music, voice, trademark, likeness or other protected material, guarantee that AI output has copyright protection, or guarantee eligibility for Content ID or another exclusivity-based system. You are responsible for reviewing the output and obtaining any other permissions your project requires. Check the fal.ai API terms and the current model information for applicable provider restrictions.
Do not sell access to Wavik’s service or provider credentials, misrepresent our ready-made sample collection as an exclusive human-recorded library, or imply that another person or brand endorsed an output. Wavik’s brand, interface, code and illustrations are separate from the permission to use downloaded audio.
6. Your descriptions and rights
You retain any rights you hold in your descriptions. Submit only information you have the right to use and disclose. You give Wavik and the necessary service providers permission to process descriptions, settings and results to fulfill your requests, deliver audio, address technical issues and enforce these terms. This does not authorize us to publish your private descriptions as testimonials or use your name in marketing without permission.
Do not submit private personal information, credentials or another person’s confidential material. Model providers process requests under their own applicable service and data terms. See the provider disclosures for details.
7. Prohibited uses and complaints
- Do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other third-party rights, or request unauthorized impersonation or deceptively attributed recordings.
- Do not create fraudulent evidence, deceptive emergency alerts, scams, threats, harassment or material facilitating violence or other illegal harm.
- Do not create sexual exploitation material, content involving the sexual abuse of minors, unlawful hate content or terrorist propaganda.
- Do not attack the service, bypass payment or security checks, steal credentials, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with other users.
Report suspected infringement or harmful content to [email protected]. Include your contact details, the work or right concerned, the specific sound, page or request reference, and an explanation of the issue and your authority to report it. We may ask for information needed to investigate and may restrict access while reviewing a credible report. We do not claim that every prompt or output is reviewed in advance by a human or an automated moderation tool.
8. Refunds and payment issues
You may request a refund within 14 days of payment. Unused purchased generations are eligible for review under the Refund Policy. Used generations are not automatically refundable, but duplicate charges, unusable results, service faults and mandatory consumer rights are reviewed separately. There is no blanket “all sales final” rule and no automatic waiver of statutory rights simply because you generated a sound.
A refund reverses the corresponding unused generation entitlement. Contact us before spending counts for which you are requesting a refund so the unused quantity can be verified. Verified refunds go through the payment provider; submitting a request is not confirmation that it has already been paid.
9. Service limits, suspension and changes
Generation depends on model availability, network conditions and capacity. Reasonable rate limits and restrictions on request size or supported settings may apply. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a specific creative outcome, or compatibility with every editor. Where mandatory law requires a remedy for a defective service, that remedy remains available.
We may restrict or suspend access for a credible security concern, unlawful use or a material breach. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to request review through support. Suspension does not automatically confiscate a legitimate unused purchase or remove applicable refund rights. If a material service change or closure prevents use of a paid balance, contact us for an appropriate remedy; we will not silently reset it because a month has ended.
To the extent permitted by law, Wavik is not responsible for losses caused by your unlawful use or unchecked reliance on generated content. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or intentional wrongdoing, or reduces non-waivable consumer protections.
10. Law, updates and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, except where mandatory laws protecting consumers in their place of residence require otherwise. A dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not impose compulsory arbitration or remove a consumer’s right to seek a legally available remedy.
We may update these terms for material changes to the service or legal requirements and will identify the updated date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or an available contact channel before they apply where required. They do not retroactively remove accrued purchase or refund rights.
